Let's Take That Painting  to the Next Level
When painting outdoors, the light's changing minute by minute. We're doing our best to gloriously capture what's before us within an hour or two. Sometimes we succeed; sometimes we don't! With the luxury of later, unrushed time in the studio, we can often see what we need to do to bring the magic back into our work.
Clark will demonstrate on several examples of his own pastel paintings that, frankly, could be more exciting. Adjustments to composition, value, color temperature, and selective finishing can make all the difference. These are concepts you can apply to your next successful plein air painting.
